The
house is very beautiful. Its charm is difficult to describe. The
garden, although it's a little bit unattended, is simply delicious
probably because of the sensation of nature in pure state that provides
as it is. The house has lots of small details that makes you feel at
home: carpets, pictures, small sculptures, old toys... eveything seems
to be there by chance but always combining harmoniously. It has the
unique atmosphere that only an old house can bring: it reaches you
since you cross the entrance door to the property and gets deep inside
of you once you walk inside of it. The relax in the swimming pool is
absolute. The dinners by the terrace, unforgetable... When we met the
owner, Mrs. Marie Aillaud, we could understand better where we had been
living those days, as she is the incarnation of the spirit of Mas de
l´Arcoule: a delightful mix of charm, class and kindness. It was also a
pleasure to meet her son Charlie that received us at our arrival and
welcomed us warmly and sharing a cup of rosé. Our kids enjoyed the
experience as much as we did. It has been a week that will last forever
in our memories as a sweet dream. PS: perhaps a little bit more of
swimming pool maintenance could be interesting, but this doesn´t modify
at all our extreme satisfaction.
