In the quiet, in the countryside, on an island opposite the City of Avignon’s city walls and the  Bridge Saint Bénézet, at 5 min. from the palace of the Popes. The Isle of the Barthelasse is  encircled by the two branches of the Rhône. It extends over 700 hectares, it is Europe’s widest  river island. It is crossed by very pleasant lanes and little roads to ride across. Not far from  the town centre and the shops (800 m), 2 km from Avignon, 20 km from Saint Rémy de  Provence, 30 km from Nîmes.

ACTIVITIES & LEISURE:
The time for a pleasant walk, the view of Avignon from the promenade opposite the Saint  Bénézet bridge is magnificent. A free boat shuttle allows you to go across the Rhône during  summer time. A water-sports centre is situated at 300 m from the house.
