The house is only a few hundred meters from the lovely village of Lacoste. That village is built on a green hill above a large plain. It faces the village of Bonnieux you can see on the hill opposite. In Lacoste, there is the castle where the marquis of Sade dwelt.
That castle is mainly a ruin, it dates from the eleventh century, it dominates the village and the remnants of the city walls. If you wish to have a look at it, be careful because stones might fall, stay at a reasonable distance from it. The castle is now owned by the famous dress maker Pierre Cardin who restores it and organizes there a cultural festival every year.
The house is 1630 S/ M, it is completely closed, just behind its large gate, there is a shelter for 2 cars, a shady garden around the house, a nice space for the pool ( 12.5x6 meters, protected by a fence, deepness: 1.65 everywhere, 2 shady terraces, one is facing the pool, the other one is at the back of the house which can be pleasant for your meals.
The living space of the house ( 120 S/M at street level) offers a large living room with 2 leather sofas, a coffee table, a fire place, a dining room with a table and chairs, a kitchen with all facilities open on the living room. 2 double rooms ( bed is 140 cm), a bathroom (bath, shower and 2 basins). The toilet is separated. A third double room ( bed is 180 cm) with a private shower room ant toilets.
