Between Lubéron and Monts du Vaucluse, the village of Rustrel is dominated by its 17th century castle and the 16th century parish church. The washhouses, the fountains, the Calvary, the Saint Roch oratory, the oil mill museum ... are all witnesses of the rich past of Rustrel. The ocher industry led to the shaping of this exceptional site, called "Colorado Provençal" in the 1950s, for the variety of its forms and colors. You will be able to discover this richness according to the pedestrian paths and the alleys of the village.

Access : By road: When coming from Lyon Highway A7, exit south Avignon (24) direction  Cavaillon, then Apt. At 10 km northeast of Apt through secondary road D22. When coming  from Aix-en-Provence, Highway A51/E712, exit 15 (Pertuis). By train: Cavaillon: 40 km, Apt  10 km. TGV fast-speed train railway station in Avignon (60 km), Aix-en-Provence (80 km).  By air: Marseille-Provence Airport: 1h30. - Avignon: 50 min.
